After four and a half years of bootstrapping, Drutoloan has secured US$125,000 in pre-seed funding to scale up its reach within the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) market in Bangladesh. The round was led by angels Ridwan Hafiz and Razy Shah as well as two other investors from Singapore.

The company says it has disbursed 3,000 loans disbursed, totaling roughly US$2Mn with a 0% default record. Druto plans to establish 1,000 SME centers to democratize business loan access while assisting in regional economic development.

Strategic collaborations with major players like LankaBangla Finance, Chaya, and Inkam has strengthened Druto's role in improving Bangladesh's financial landscape. Drutoloan's end-to-end process streamlines lending for MSMEs, saving them time and resources.

CEO Abdul Gaffar Sadi stated, “The infusion of this new capital will undoubtedly catalyze our mission to empower MSMEs and transform the business financing landscape in Bangladesh.”
