Monsha Joins LAUNCH Accelerator, Secures US$125K for AI Platform Development
Newsletter
Monsha, an edtech startup focused on enhancing the productivity of educators, has been accepted into the LAUNCH Accelerator based in San Francisco. As part of its entry into the program, Monsha has secured US$125K in pre-seed funding to further develop its product for 93.7 million teachers worldwide.
Co-founded by Yanur Islam Piash and Azmain Adel—graduates of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET)—Monsha provides an all-in-one AI platform that streamlines teaching preparation, planning, and administrative tasks. This enables teachers to focus more on student learning outcomes by reducing the time spent on non-teaching activities.
The LAUNCH Accelerator, led by Jason Calacanis, a Silicon Valley investor known for his early investments in companies like Uber and Robinhood, offers intensive support through its programs. Monsha's participation in this accelerator aligns with its mission to transform the way teachers work, teach, and engage with students.
Prior to founding Monsha, Piash built Bohubrihi, an edtech startup that was later acquired by Shikho. Adel brings a background in AI and software engineering, having worked on scalable systems and machine learning solutions at several startups like Field Buzz, Intelligent Machines, and Optimizely.
Monsha is currently incorporated in the United States and operates globally, offering a range of plans from a forever-free Basic plan to an Enterprise plan for institutions. With the new funding, Monsha plans to expand its features, explore new distribution channels, and establish strategic partnerships to reach more educators around the world.
