10 Minute School Raises Pre-Series A Funding of US$5.5Mn

10 Minute School, one of the leading edtech platforms in Bangladesh, has secured a pre-Series A funding of US$5.5Mn, marking a significant milestone in the country's startup ecosystem. With this latest development, the company has now amassed a total of US$ 7.5Mn in funding.
This funding round was a testament to both private and government investors collaborating to support education innovation. Conjunction Capital played a pivotal role in leading the funding, and key contributors included Peak XV's Surge (formerly known as Sequoia Capital India), government-backed venture capital firm Startup Bangladesh Limited, and prominent individuals like Kunal Shah, the founder and CEO of CRED, and Sajid Rahman, managing partner at MyAsiaVC, as well as various local angel investors.
The funding will allow 10MS to enhance its technological and content capabilities, and optimize operational aspects. Co-founder and COO Mirza Salman Hossain Beg highlighted the company's commitment to providing personalized learning experiences through AI and the expansion of its technical team with additional engineers and product managers.
Conjunction Capital's managing partner, Kirill Kozhevnikov, expressed confidence in the partnership, stating, "This marks our first venture into the Bangladesh market, and we are confident that this partnership will redefine the education landscape in the country."
